They hired Joan and were extremely pleased with her professionalism as a calligrapher. A few years later I hired her to do my wedding invitations after seeing the work that she did for Mr. and Mrs. Jim Kelly. Many, many thanks for the beautiful job you did on our birthday invitations, response cards and envelopes! The party was in September and people are still raving over them in November. But most of all, they brought tears to the birthday girl's eyes (she is 80). Not only were the invitations lovely but your amazing ability to produce them in such a very short time was nothing less than a miracle. I contacted you last minute as I just couldn't find anyone's work I liked online until I found your site. Your advice was invaluable and you kept your word about job completion and product delivery. | Being a serious type A personality, I researched calligraphers on the internet and found your website to be the warmest and most inviting. "Entering" your site was without a doubt one of the best decisions I made in regard to our wedding invitations. I realize I could have searched locally for a calligrapher. Having said that, I don't believe I would have gotten the personal attention that you gave me throughout the entire process. It wasn't just a case of me sending you the invitations and you sending them back. You were so good about calling me and letting me know what was going on or if I had received them. That special attention to detail is something that in this day and time is a rarity. I enjoyed our conversations and you were a delight to work with. The invitations were beautiful and we received many compliments on them. I even had one person write on the back of the response envelope that the invitations were beautiful. The song that you inscribed for me to give Tim was breathtaking. It will be a "memory" that he will cherish forever and I will always think of you when I look at it. Thank you so much for pouring your heart and soul into our invitations. If anyone is looking for a calligrapher, we will definitely send them your way. | Joan, I just wanted thank you again for helping me out with very stressful situation. The calligraphy work you did for me was wonderful! All of the corrections I had you do worked out very well. You were able to match the original calligraphers handwriting so it was hard to tell that they had been corrected. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with your professionalism and dedication in writing up my wedding invitations. My fiancé had been trying to print up the invitations using an ink jet printer. Simply put, the attempt did not work well at all. With an impending deadline looming to mail the invitations, I resorted to the Yellow Pages and found you. Everyone that has seen the invitations specifically mentioned how beautiful the calligraphy was on it. | Of Course you can use me as a reference, any time! I will also make sure to let all of my newlywed friends know about you in the future. I just sent out the invitations and I love them. The other day I got an invitation from one of Robs friends and she had hers done also. They looked nothing like mine. Mine are so much prettier and elegant. You really are talented, I loved them anyway but now I see the comparison. I also love the little gold symbols on the sides of the names. Great touch! Thanks again, it was the best gift ever!
