Place cards come in a variety of ways.
You can have them:

1. Printed up by the company that does your invitations for your special day.
2. Buy them at a store without anything printed on it.
3. Hand Scribed Calligraphy order place cards for you. (Contact for prices)
4. Have Hand Scribed Calligraphy design a place card for you.
   1. Hand scribe the information on a place card that just has the names and table number on it or
   2. Use rubber stamps to the top or sides of the cards to add color and design to the card. You are welcome to send a stamp so the place card can be imprinted or you can send sample of where you will put your stamp on the card so the size and location of lettering can be planned. There will be a .25 cent charge for each card for the rubber stamp imprinted with the color of your choice. Please call for color choices and rubber stamps.

Samples have been included of most styles so you can see what place cards will look like. If there is a particular style that you would like, please email the alphabet for review. You can usually get this from the company that is doing your invitations.

Place cards can only be written using a fine tip because the confined area. The cards should all be written the same size so when they are laid out on a table they look uniformly written. You can see this by the pictures to the right.

Extra Place Cards
It is essential that you have at least 10 to 20 percent more cards that the total number on your list. This is to insure that you will not have to order more cards at the last minute in case you have to add more names to the list or if any need to be redone.
